To make this low carb, serve it over something other than rice or noodles.
Crock Pot Chicken
Ingredients
- 2-4 Chicken Breasts
- 1 can Cream of Chicken & Herbs
- 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
- 1 pkg Onion Soup Mix
- 16 oz Mushrooms Sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & Pepper
- garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt, pepper, & garlic powder (light on salt). Brown chicken on both sides – just brown them on the outside, the insides will be raw. Combine cream cheese and soups in the slow cooker, add chicken breasts, and top with mushrooms. Slow cook high 4 hours, or low for 6 hours.
- Prepare egg noodles according to package, and serve chicken & sauce over the noodles.
Notes
First time was super salty. May have been too much salt when I coated the chicken, or too much from the soups.
