My attempt to recreate the basic crab salad my grandmother used to make. It will never be the same as it was back then when my grandfather would catch the crabs right off the back yard and steam them in the kitchen. I miss those days and I miss my grandparents.
Crab Salad
Ingredients
- 1 lb Blue Crab Meat lump, or backfin is the best
- 3/4 cup celery Tiny dice
- 4 Tbsp Mayonaise
- 1/2 tsp Celery Seed
- 1 Dash paprika
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for 2 hours.
