Oven-dried beef jerky marinated in soy sauce, Worcestershire, and smoked paprika.

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef slices into strips.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients to create marinade, then add beef strips.
  3. Marinate in fridge 6-24 hours.
  4. Blot the beef strips dry with paper towels, and spread beef in a single layer on a baking rack.
  5. Bake in closed oven for 2 1/2 hours at 170 degrees (75°C), then turn the oven off and let it cool to room temperature with the door still closed (~2 more hours). See notes for doubling.

Notes

I store them in a ziplock bag in the fridge. To double, make two separate batches of marinade & meat. Lay each batch on separate baking trays and let the oven run for 3 hours with 2 hour cool down.
