A ground beef and corn soup built on Hamburger Helper Italian Lasagna — from the 2009 Elkin Soup Off.

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef with the onion and drain.
  2. Stir in the Hamburger Helper sauce mix. Add the water, corn, tomatoes, and parmesan. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Stir in the Hamburger Helper pasta pack and the salt. Simmer an additional 10 minutes, or until the pasta is done.
  5. Serve with a sprinkle of parmesan if desired.
