Baked Ziti for Susan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ziti dry
  • 4-5 cups Meat Sauce Homemade only!
  • 1/2 tsp Peper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 10 oz Provolone grated
  • 10 oz Mozzarella grated
  • 3 oz Parmesan grated

Instructions
 

  • Make homemade sauce. (see notes)
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cook Ziti according to package, stop short of al-dente. About 2 minutes before the shortest cooking time on the package.
  • Drain ziti in a colander and rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Stir gently while rinsing.
  • Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Make one layer of pasta & cheese, then another layer of sauce, pasta and cheese, then another layer of sauce. Top with remaining cheese
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese on top bubbles and browns.

Notes

Homemade Spagetti Sauce is a must.
