Cut the beef slices into strips
Mix remaining ingredients to create marinade, then add beef strips
Marinate in fridge 6-24 hours.
Blot the beef strips dry with paper towels, and spread beef in a single layer on a baking rack.
Bake in closed over for 2 1/2 hours at 170 degrees, then turn the oven off and let it cool to room temperature with the door still closed (~2 more hours). See notes for doubling.
